You seem like fun, thought I’d come and say hi!

P.S. You remind me of a spice girl
=)

Match.com message. Which one? Because that makes a huge difference.

Your profile is short and sweet but I get the impression that we may hit it off. I would really like the chance to get to know you better. Maybe if I’m lucky you will let me take you out for a drink. I am curious to know what your experience at [redacted college name for my own anonymity] was like. I always think of that movie Rules of Attraction when imagine going to a liberal arts school in the northeast. Seems pretty fun. I hope we can speak and see what happens.

How are you? Great I hope. You were in my daily matches and your profile really stood out from the rest. It would be nice to connect with you soon. Take care.
Match.com message. I cannot emphasize enough that if something in my profile stands out, say what it was! I am not a mind-reader and a message is meant to be a conversation starter!

Letter Of Note of the Day: Wedding season once again is upon us, and a June 1971 letter from future U.S. President Ronald Reagan to his soon-to-be-wed son, Michael, contains advice for the groom that stands the test of time.
An excerpt:

If you truly love a girl, you shouldn’t ever want her to feel, when she sees you greet a secretary or a girl you both know, that humiliation of wondering if she was someone who caused you to be late coming home, nor should you want any other woman to be able to meet your wife and know she was smiling behind her eyes as she looked at her, the woman you love, remembering this was the woman you rejected even momentarily for her favors.
Mike, you know better than many what an unhappy home is and what it can do to others. Now you have a chance to make it come out the way it should. There is no greater happiness for a man than approaching a door at the end of a day knowing someone on the other side of that door is waiting for the sound of his footsteps.

I am interested in meeting if you are interested.
Plenty of Fish message. Just like that? With no preamble?

Ooowee, what’s up with that?

Maybe Match.com read my complaint about getting more emails from Chemistry.com than from Match, but my inbox has been blowing up with winks and messages from Match matches. WTF, mate?

In the last 2 days, I’ve received 24 emails! What’s up with that?!

First off, your name alone caught my attention, its a beautiful name and one I said I would name my daughter; when I have one. Second, your profile was short but to the point, I love trying new foods of all cultures. Grammar and spelling is one of my fortes. (sorry POF has no accent marks) I would love to grab a cup of coffee with you sometime.

Regards.

P.S. I know all my pictures scream guido, but I’m not a fist pumping, tanning bed, Jersey shore going guido. I promise!

Plenty of Fish message. Why wouldn’t you upload new photos, then?
